The Planning Department supports the long-term vision for the City of Philomath by managing:

in alignment with our comprehensive plan. We work with residents, businesses, and developers to guide projects through zoning, site planning, subdivisions, and code requirements while ensuring they align with community goals.
Any development or construction activity within the floodplain, whether it requires a building permit or not, is required to obtain a Floodplain Development Permit (this includes fill, accessory structures and fences).
