Public Notice

The City of Philomath has received the above-referenced application for a Minor Modification. Notice is being mailed to property owners within 250 feet of the project site.

You are invited to submit written comments for the Planning Official to consider prior to issuing a decision. Comments should address the applicable approval criteria listed in this notice. Failure to raise an issue in writing with sufficient specificity to allow the City to respond may preclude an appeal of that issue. Written comments must be received by 5:00 p.m. on April 22, 2026, and may be submitted by mail or email.

A location map is attached. All application materials are available for review at the Philomath City Hall. Copies may be obtained for a nominal fee.

Any person submitting written comments will receive a copy of the notice of decision. The decision of the Planning Official may be appealed to the Planning Commission as provided in PMC Chapter 18.105.

Applicable Approval Standards

Minor Modification Approval Criteria (PMC 18.130.040(B))

A minor modification shall be approved, approved with conditions, or denied by the planning official based on written findings on the following criteria:

1. The proposed development is in compliance with all applicable requirements of the development code; and
2. The modification is not a major modification as defined in PMC § 18.130.030.
