Philomath is known as the City of Volunteers—and that spirit of service is what makes our community strong, connected, and resilient.

Volunteering with the City of Philomath is a meaningful way to give back, meet neighbors, and make a real difference. Whether you're interested in serving on a board or commission, helping out at a special event, or supporting a local program, your time and talents are valuable and appreciated.

Philomath has been built by the efforts of volunteers from the library to Triangle Park (aka Lion's Park). Your participation matters to current and future residents of Philomath as well as those who visit our wonderful     community.

Ways to Volunteer

Groups who wish to volunteer under another organization's liability insurance should contact the Assistant City Manager directly at 541-929-9706.

  1. Submit a volunteer interest application below - minor volunteers may require additional forms and parent or guardian signatures. We'll follow up with next steps.

  2. Sign-up to be notified of volunteer opportunities - if you have an approved application, you'll be able to start volunteering right away!
