City Liens

City Liens and Payoff Requests

Title companies may obtain City lien and payoff information through the Conduits online service. This platform provides secure, direct access to lien data for property transactions and is the preferred method for title professionals.

All other requests, including those from property owners, potential buyers, or their representatives, should be directed to the City’s Finance Director. Please include the property address and any relevant documentation with your inquiry to ensure a timely response.

A City lien is a legal claim placed on a property for unpaid charges owed to the City, such as utility bills, code enforcement fines, or public improvement assessments.

Title companies can access lien information through the Conduits system. Property owners or other interested parties should contact the City’s Finance Director directly for lien information.

At this time, lien payoff amounts must be requested through the Finance Department. Once the amount is confirmed, payment instructions will be provided.

Please allow up to 5 business days for the City to process your request. Providing complete and accurate information can help expedite the process.

After full payment is received and processed, the City will prepare and record a lien release with the appropriate county office. A copy can be provided upon request.
