City Council Executive Session

The Philomath City Council will meet in executive session for the purpose of conducting deliberations with persons designated by the governing body to carry on labor negotiations. The executive session is held pursuant to ORS 192.660(2)(d) which allows the Council to meet in executive session to conduct these discussions.

Designated staff, the news media, and other designated persons shall be allowed to attend the executive session. No final decision may be made in executive session. At the end of the executive session, the Council will return to open session and welcome the public back into the chambers.
